Just got finished installing my new 4L80E manual valve body w/transbrake. Made new crossmember, clearanced tunnel, installed spohn chromoly drive shaft, wired up transbrake onto stock steering wheel w/horn button & converter lock up switch on console. If anyone is interested in this info let me know & I will put together a thread with pictures.

 

This is the 6 speed or no? Either way yes I am interested.

 

The 4L80 is the 4 speed, the 6L80 is the 6 speed...I would like to see pics, how does it fit in the tunnel?

I am very interested in installing a 4L80e, for my new motor, as its basically a TH400 with an OD (internals-wise anyways).

What kind of flexplate did you use? What did you do to the crossmember to get the trans to fit? What shifter did you use?

 

Yes more details please. I have access to wrecked newer trucks and was looking at sourcing one of these.

I know this thread is ancient, but im looking into buying a 4l80e from ck performance also. Ive talked to chris on the phone once and he seemed like a good guy to deal with but how was your experience with him, and mostly how is the trans holding up. Im just concerned about dealing with a company I found by searching online and I cant find many people who have dealt with him before.
