i have a sad 200c auto in my 82 Z/305 can i still use the stock shifter when i fit the TH/350,,,,and is there any little things i might encounter,like oil line preblems,speedo drive,etc,,,,,,need quick advice thanks ,the car is off the road as of next week,steve

 

When I converted from a 200 to a 350, The swap was an easy one, The only minor problem I ran into was I had to use the original shifter brackets from the 200 on the 350. 700 brackets just would not work. I would suggest getting a Megashifter, It works better then the stock one and I think it looks better.

I used my 82 for quite a while with the stock th200c tranny shifter and a th350.

350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...
