How old is your spohn TA ? I had an early one that only had one set of rear bolt holes. I had to order a newer one from him that had two sets and could be moved more inboard. Otherwise, do you have an adjustable panhard bar? You may need to center your rear if your fender-to-wheel gaps are different side-to-side..

Dunno what to tell you then.. If you're using the set of holes that move the TA inboard and your rear is centered, you may just need to use a BFH to clearance the tunnel area where it's hitting..

Re: spohn torque arm with 12 bolt axle

I've got Moser's 9 in in my car and I had the same problem. But don't worry, it will self clearance itself. I know that doesn't sound like a good thing, but it did work really well on my car with no ill affects. You have to remember these aftermarket TA's are a lot bigger and bulkier than the stock TA. I am sure if the stock one was put back in there wouldn't be any clearance issues. You definitely need and adj ta anytime you use an aftermarket rear end to get your angles set correctly. So, that is the compromise we all pay.
