torque arm bracket question

i just swapped a t5 in my 88 iroc and the torque arm bracket off the 700r4 doesnt fit on the t5 at all. do i have to buy a new one, or can i modify it???

You may be able to modify it, I just did the swap and for a few bucks a member here shipped me one. Just go to the WTB section under Engine/Drivetrain Parts and say you need a T5 torque arm bracket.
