need help on stall converter

need help on stall converter

i have a 350 bored .030
But i Dont know what cam it has in it
it has a real lummpy idle, and its in time so it must be big, and i have to say it sounds damn good but the only problem is there is no power behind the throttle, do i need a stall converter? please help.

Try maually shifting it and take note on what rpm it really starts to pull then get/guess at a converter stall speed that matches, may want to check your rear gears too, that'll give you sluggish performance.
