I was told my car had a Z28 rearend with a 3.73 gear by previous owner, but I was trying to match the id stamped on it. It is 8PS 0 34 0 1

I looked in my Haynes manual, but it does not match up with any of the rearend codes listed. Can anyone id this rearend?

Hello, the code "8ps" shows the rear axle to be a 3.73 posi unit. the other codes are date and plant codes. best of luck,tom
