200 MPH speedo.. anything needed?

im going to be installing a 200 mph speedo in my car.. im just wondering if ill need any different cables/wires so it knows its the 200 mph speedo and not the 145.

Engine: 355 (fastburn heads, LT4 HOT cam)
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt, 3.27
Should be the same. The standard for speedos, is like 1000 rpm's of the input (or I would imagine pulses from the vss would be the same) would be 60 MPH. I'm not sure on that, and I know GMTech knows, that's where I got it from!

Is this some sort of rare stock piece, or aftermarket?

Autometer has had the 160 and 200 mph electro speedos for years.

IMHO the 140 stock speedo is plenty. If you looking at a speedo at 140+ mph.....
WTF are you doing????? The is NO time to be checking the speedo. Maybe the oil temp, oil pres, water temp, then you wanna check your speed????

Better be in the Silver State Classic. Even John Lingenfelter will tell you there is NOT enough time to check all vitals at TRC at 200+ mph.

well i have the place bookmarket for the 200 mph speedo. there was a digital and the regular kind. im opting for the regular kind. to bad 60 mph is going to be were the usual 40-45 is all the other guages are in except this 1 and the tach. and yes im going to be doing the high speed driving
