T-5 speedo cable drive unit
I need to replace the electronic speedometer drive unit with a cable drive unit. The tranny is a T-5 out of a 91 Z28, but my car has a cable driven speedometer. IIRC, there were a few people around here who needed the electronic unit (tranny mounted VSS). I'd be glad to swap. The local GM dealership wants nearly $100 for it. I'd rather go without a working speedo that blow that kind of money on a few pieces of plastic. I presume the electronic unit is even more expensive.

'88 IROC 305 TPI
Freshly converted to 5 speed
Gutted airboxes
180 degree T-stat
Advanced base TPS voltage
Relocated IAT sensor
Momo steering wheel (gotta luv it)
Ram-air setup coming soon
Flowmaster muffler (puke)
Taylor SpiroPro wires
Accel cap and rotor
Ported plenum
Throttle body bypass
Kills: '94 Z28, Olds Aurora V8, bunch of Mustangs, T-birds, ricers, and others who assumed a 13 year-old car would be too slow.

I have a mechanical speedo sender, doesn't have a gear on it though. The electronic one was ~60 bucks from my local parts store.
