hay my trans went out and im lookin to save some money and rebuild it myself anyone use this http://store.summitracing.com/partde...218&part=13680
and if anyone has used this is it worth the money and does it have any improvements or downfalls over stock

Here's some feedback! If you are planning on rebuilding the early tranny keep in mind that the later ones had some desirable
upgrades, so getting a later model like an '88 or '89 would be to your advantage. If
you haven't rebuilt a 700-r4 before, it would
probably be in your best interest to hire
someone with an excellent reputation to build
it for you. If you must rebuild one yourself,
be sure to check out:
www.transonline.com/electroPublisher
and click on the transmission of your choice.
BTW, because of the springs and snaprings, I always wear some sort of eye protection
when rebuilding transmissions.

now after i put this rebuild kit in what else can i do sence ill have the tranny pulled anyway to mke it TOP of the line like souped to the max also where could i get these parts

The thing I don't like about that kit is TCI doesn't make frictions, nor any the parts in the kit, so what are they? Without knowing I wouldn't buy it, chances are they are pretty good (one of the better brands)
Maybe Summit would open the box and tell you what the brand name of the parts are.
