Buddy has one. Got it because he didn't realize the MegaShifter was available in a console style. If you ask him now, though, he'll tell you it's because the Hammer is a better shifter...
Fiddled quite awhile with the Radio Shack switches you have to get, but seems to be working fine for him.

Ive been looking into the megashifter and the hammer shifter...the thing I like about the hammer shifter is that nice leather boot...i HATE the crappy plastic/rubber boot the megashifter has....makes it look like a toy or something. However I like the mega shifter because its a console model...the hammer isnt. Someone said that it may be possible to use the hammer leather boot....or any boot from a manual car, on the megashifter...but he wasnt completely sure about it. Once I start working on the interior of my car...I will probably just go ahead and buy a megashifter (unless I decide to go with a 6 speed)...then look at it and see if I can put a leather boot on it.
