Where's the beef? (rebuilding a 700R4)

My 700R4 is in need of a rebuild(slipping) and I want it to handle 500hp. I don't know a lot about transmissions, where can I get a good rebuild kit? Is there anything else I should have installed at the same time to firm up my shifts? I have heard that shift kits don't do well in 700R4's. Also what is a good price for the labor on a rebuild if I pull the tranny myself? A guy I talked to said $350.

Oh, forgot to mention I want to eliminate that stupid WOT no OD shift thing.
