My buddy was thinking of doin this to his IROC, and wants a trans brake. Anybody have any difficulty? I know Sphoen makes a crossmember/torque arm for it. Is there any other problems you ran into?

 

I used the Hurst cross member kit and the stock torque arm on my my car. You will have to get a drive shaft cut and balanced.

Better upgrade the differential too. A transbrake will destroy that tiny ring and pinion.

As mentioned above about the driveshaft. The TH400 output yoke is larger than a 700R4/TH350. You'll also need a TH400 yoke.
