T-5 grinding gears!

ok i had my t-5 rebuilt about 9000 miles ago and it works fine except under spirited driving conditions when it will grind on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift mainly the 2-3 shift, also i have a Hurst billet plus shifter with the adjustable stops, is it possible i could be shifting too fast and not letting the synchros line up before letting the clutch out? it doesnt do it all the time only when i hammer on it and run it to 5k and slam it into gear.

now maybe i am just asking too much from this trans but i dont remember it doing this before.
so i just wanted to get some opinions , and also what kind of intervals do u guys change ur trans fluid on? for extreme driving conditions, I have some Mobil 1 synthetic ATF i am gonna put in soon, BTW my trans uses ATF not gear oil.

My transmission doesn't do that, and I just had it rebuilt about 300 miles ago. It's suppossedly a WC T5 in my car, but I couldn't tell you. Try conventional ATF instead of the synthetic. I have heard of problems with the synthetic not allowing the syncros to line up the gears correctly.

Now if the new clutch were just worth a poop everything would be great. Just out of curiousity, how much did you spend on the rebuild. I spent $1200 on a new clutch set and rebuilt tranny. This included removal and installation. Now I have to redo the hydraulic clutch setup because they didn't look it over when it was all apart.
