How to tell what kind of aftermarket tranny I am running?
When I baught my 86Z28 mods listed below the car was converted from auto to 5-speed. How do i find out what kind of tranny it is. I am looking for torque arm bars for the car from Spohn And there is different ones for different trannys. Can someone please help me out on this one. Thanks guys.

the most logical choice would be a t5 or wc t5. if it is in fact after market all you should have to do is crawl under the car and look at how the letters are arranged on the side of the trans. that'll tell you who made it.

So the Spohn adjustable t5 torque arm sould work then right? Thanks for the help.

Transmission: WC-T5, WC-T5, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27
Yep, works fine. I had his torque arm when my car had a 700R4. It still has it with the WC-T5 I swapped in.
