torque converter lock up
torque converter lock up
I have a 700R4 in my 85 IROC and I disconected the wires to the transmission so the torque converter wouldn't lock up. it's nice for down shifts and won't lock up in third any more but my gas milage has decreased. My questions were is the trany ment to lock up in third and which wire do I put a switch on to enable and disable the lock up???
Thanks,

Put a switch on the ground wire--should be the black wire I think.
