My father and I noticed shortly after I purchased the Firebird ('84) that when engaging the park brake we heard a grinding noise and found the cable was possibly being wore against the rear axle; any ideas how to correct this? I believe this is also the reason the park brake still allows the car to roll slightly (1/8th of a revolution or so) even when engaged. Help?
