What color spring to use in 3-4 accumulator?

What color spring to use in 3-4 accumulator?
Sup? I'm rebuilding an 89 700-R4...
I'm working on putting the valve body back together and I can't figgure out what color spring I should use. I have one spring out of this 89 case and another out of an 82... I'm not sure which one goes with which tranny...
One spring is green, and the other is slightly longer and purple in color...
Is one better over the other? Any performance gains/decreases with either spring?
