why wont shifter slide to the right

why wont shifter slide to the right

Ihave T56 in my 91z and cant get the ****fter to shift over to the right from nuetral. i cna only gointo 1-4. what is up with this. 1-4 shifts perfect. it is the stock shifter but has been removed by previous owner.

Mine goes into 5 and 6, but reverse is tough. That is because I did not hook up the reverse solinoid.
