My vibration problems have pretty much been narrowed down to the tranny. A local tranny guru(known county wide for quality work) seems to believe that it's the converter from the symptoms I told him over the phone. I'm taking it to him later to have him drive it to see what's going on.
The symptoms are as follows:
1)Vibration at 60mph on up at 2100 rpm and up in overdrive.
2)the driveshaft has been balanced as well as the wheels and tires.
3)With the rear raised and supported the car was run through the gears to see if anything else was amiss. This was when the vibration showed itself as coming from up forward of the driveshaft and not from the shaft back.
I'm looking for as much info as I can find so I can make the correct choice of action. Can you guys help?
