Limited Slip/Posi Problems

How come the limited slip randomly dissengages in the car. It's a stock rear with 4.10s. If the car loses traction off the line it has a tendency to one wheel peel and when I bang into second it roasts both tires.

Can it be the fluids or is the limited slip on it's way out the door?

Re: Limited Slip/Posi Problems

If you have the Auburn differentuial in a 10 bolt then it is probably worn out. You will have to replace it because it can't be rebuilt. If you have the 9 bolt Borg Warner rear end then the differential in it can be reconditioned at least one time. If you have a Governor Lock then you need to replace it with something that actually works.
