good or bad deal
i was at iola car show yesterday and on my last sweep out i saw a z28 iroc 9 bolt boarg warner posi disc brake rear end with 3.27 to 1 gears from a 86-89 camaro guy had a price tag on it for $250 i got it for $150 my dad looked it over hes a mechanic thought it was decent so i bought it i started to pull it apart to clean up it its got like brand newer pads and newer rotors mabey they were just cut but either way there smooth inside the pumpkin looks good dosent even look like its worn at all so what do you guys think did i get a good or bad deal?

it sounds like a decent deal if the pads were new and the rotors just resurfaced. but a buddy of mine just picked up a 4th gen rear with 3.42's and disc brakes for about 150

I just bought the same axle for $50 off craigslist.
89 IROC-Z 327 gear, posi, disk brakes, aluminum calipers, 28 spline axles.
To be fair i think i got a rediculously good deal, 150 doesnt seem like a bad price though.
