tranny question.
I have a 83 Camaro. My question is does the tranny use vacume to shift? The tranny will sift if i do it manulay but not on its own. So do i need to run a vacume line to it? If so where to i need to run it from the carb? Thanks for any help

Re: tranny question.
what type of trans do you have in your car is it an overdrive unit or three speed in an overdrive unit your shifts are controlled by the throttle valve cable a cable that runs from your transmission to your carburator on the three speed units it is controlled by vacuum
