Hi. I noticed the other day that from a standing start, the car seemed to pull realllly slow. Also noticed that it didnt shift until i got up to 50 mph. I dont think 1st gear goes to 50 mph. From a rolling 35 mph if i nail the gas it will drop into what I'm assuming is second and pulls hards to 50 mph then shifts.

From this, I concluded that it isnt ever engaging into 1st gear, since its downshifting into the same gear that its in when i start from a stop light.

are my accusations right? If so, why would there be no first, and how would I fix it?
