T56 SWAP Q'S

Those of you who went from 700R4 to the T56, did you use the automatics starter? How much shorter is the auto's drive shaft?

Any tips on the swap would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of information I hadn't known!
On the automatic radiator, do you plug the cooling line holes? won't fluid come out if not?

LOL.......You can drain the radiator of the fluid by taking the raditor out or use some king of vaccum pump or something or another to get the fluid out while the radiator is still in the car. When I did my swap I just let the fluid come out as the front end of the car was on the jack stands. It's going to be the least of your problems.

What I wanted to say was do I need to plug the tranny line holes in the radiator after the swap to use the same radiator.

Sorry about that. No, you do not have to plug them.
