I need a speedo housing/aluminum that will fit a 45 tooth speedo gear. The black plastic one will only work wiith up to a 39 tooth gear since the 40-45 tooth gear is a bit wider on the shaft. I have looked everywhere i could here in my area and noone has one. PLEASE help.The dealer says its no longer available. I can but a new one for 70.00. on the tranny site online. used would be more sufficient for me I HAVE PAYPAL!!!

 

there were black plastic ones for 40-45 tooth when I bought some years back. Prob. have one.

 

Have you tried installing the regular one? I saw everywhere that a larger housing was required, but I ignored it when I swapped my gears, and it fit just fine.

 

for under $25 you can buy a new 45 tooth that comes with a new plastic carrier. this is detailed on one of my stickies.
