700R4 Converter and Electrical Lockup question
I have done a conversion from TPI to Carb. The engine is expected to produce 360 hp. While I have it out Im going to go ahead and have the tranny rebuilt. What stall converter for the 700R4 should I get or should I just keep the stock. I will be driving the car a lot of the road. Dont plan on racing it yet. Also, do I have to do something to bypass the electrical bypass lockup swtich since I will no longer have an ECM or can I just leave as is. Thanks for all the help!

Re: 700R4 Converter and Electrical Lockup question
When in the transmission, install a tcc lockup kit - the kit replaces a solenoid inside the tranny, and a few wires get redone, then you attach a vacuum switch to the system that locks the TCC for you (you can also install a switch to manually lock it).
