89' 700R4 + TCI Shift Kit = EASY???
Well? I just put a TCI shift kit in my TH350 and it was simple as pie 1 plate 3 gaskets and 5 springs later i was done.
Is it that same thing for a 700R4? I heard the 700R4 has a bunch of electronic crap to worry about.... Or is it the same frikin thing.

True, TCI and anybody else who's name doesn't begin with TransGo doesn't make a Shift Kit.
A 700 is allot more complicated to do than the 350. I would suspect that the TCI stuff would be easier to install though. I've never used theirs specifically but since it will essentially be like the B&M stuff it is relatively easy which is good since the tranny won't last as long with it as the TransGo, it will save time for your rebuilders. Just remember to save the instructions for them.
