TH350 CONVERTER DILEMMA

Transmission: TH700R4/Vigilante
Axle/Gears: D44/3.45
TH350 CONVERTER DILEMMA

I FOUNS A 78 TH350 from a Chevy Nova ...with a in line six 250 ..i wanna couple the TH 350 TO A 1978 350 ..I WANNA KNOW IF THE CONVERTER will work well with the 350 ??

Well, yes, it will since it isn't L/U and the tranny isn't a L/U either.

L/U stands for Lock/Up as in the 700R4 has a L/U converter. The TH350 doesn't.

Turbo 350's from 1979 to 1984 have lock up torque converters, physically different from the 700R4 coverter but same theory of operation.
