Help!! Which rearend is better?????????

I am looking into a ford 9" rearend for my car. I am shopping around, and have found a complete kit made by moser engineering, which is a bolt in, and a kit from curry enterprises, which is also a bolt in. Both kits come with axles, gears, center section, brakes, and housing, and run around 2000. Has anyone bought one of these kits? If not, which is the better kit to go with. I am open to all arguments! Thanks for the help guys!

I've seen them both. The only real difference is how they mount the torque arm. The Moser mount is very beefy but the Currie mount is more simplistic. Both will work the same.

I have heard of problems with the Currie 9 inch because the case twists (torque arm mount is not strong enough). With ~450 lbft though, I think it would be fine though.

I put 520 lbft through my stock 9 bolt (well near stock 9 bolt ) I think I can make it last with maybe 550-575 with some of the new parts I'm working on.

Currently installing 3.73's into my 9 bolt (YES, it is a 9 bolt & YES they are 3.73's, not 3.70. I currently have 4.10 gear sets and new series 3 posi carriers for sale for 9 bolts )

88 427... You say you have 4.10 9 bolts for sale? Does this include the posi unit? Is it the whole axle assembly?

Lastly, how much money?

I am in need of a new ring and pinion and posi and am looking at all my options.
Thanks

I don't say, I do have 4.10 gear sets and series 3 posi carriers for 9 bolts. These are brand new pieces.

I am working on a web page for all the info and all the other 9 bolt hi-performance stuff now (from gear sets to ). e-mail me for more info.
