Weird noise coming from my T-5
I have been driving around and my T-5 seems to make a slight grinding noise when its in gear not moving. It sounds almost like im trying to shift into a gear without using the clutch but really faint/light. I replaced the throwout bearing about 30 miles ago when i put my new motor in.
I dont get any grinding from it while sitting in gear and the car is moving. Also it only does it in 1st thru 3rd from what i can tell.
Thanks Chas

I'm not sure when they switched to a hydraulic clutch setup, but if yours is a linkage setup you should check the free play of the clutch pedal.
Have someone run the car with the grinding sound and try to listen under the car (to the best of your ability, don't hurt yourself) and determine whether it's coming from the clutch or transmission.

EDIT: This is also behind a 383 if that matters.
