I currently have a 85 305MAF/TPI/700r4 OEM setup in my car. I'm doing a engine swap to a 383 using the 90-92 SD comp.and harness and have a Pro-Built trans with the 88 and up case built by Dana. My OEM speedo in the car is a 145mph powered by a manual cable. With the newer trans case will my speedo gears out of the original 85 trans swap right in to the new style case and work properly,or is there some type of electronic signal convertor that I will need for this swap? I await your answers.
