3.42 gears for a 2 series carrier.....

I recently found out Richmond does sell 3.42 ring and pinion gear sets in 2 and 3 series carriers. Is my 2.73, 10 bolt rear, a 7.5" rear? And to do a gear swap what kind of installation kit do I need, a half or complete.(As seen in Jegs)

It'd probably be cheaper if you bought the SLP take-off torsen posi unit and a set of 3.42 used gears off a 4th genner. Then take them to a professional gear installer. Its not something for an amateur. Dont forget to have him change your speedo gears in your trans, too.
