I was looking at my old transmission compared to my new one. The new one is out of an 84 van without an ecm, the van unit seems to have more swithes inside it. Is there a different way I should wire my Lockup Harness I can't seem to get it to work. Thanks.

There weren't any switches or wires at all running into it all i have is the wires from the 4 pin plug runing inside and ending with electrical tape. The previous owner wasn't nice to it.
What I would do is this: The '84's had terrible shift timeing so along with all of the other reasons for the TransGo Shift Kit (not Reprogramming Kit or Jr. SK)you need it to correct this. It will include coorrected shift timing for L/U. Now you have two options. One is to block off the solenoid and leave it to the TCC Shift Valve to control L/U or the other is to let the conputer still have control but the Shift Valve with make sure it happens at a proper speed. You can do this by bypassing the wiring internally and essentially connecting the A and D terminals in series with the solenoid. This way when the signal comes the solenoid will activate the circuit and at the proper speed it will L/U. If you do this W/O the SK it will not happen at a good speed and could bog the engine and if you block the solenoid it won't always unlock at times that it should and driveability suffers. It does work if you have a strong engine but it's not as good.
