My dad just bought a 91 Z28 convertible. The trans shifts fine in all conditions except for WOT. Say you're doing a 30 roll and punch it, the engine will just bounch off the rev limiter and the trans will not engage. One you let off the gas and resume normal driving everything returns to normal......any ideas?

That almost sounds like at WOT it is going into neutral. First guess is the valve body is routing the fluid wrong

TV (throttle valve) cable out of adjustment possibly....mine did same thing...seemed fine when driving....full throttle....acted like it was in neutral....

hmmm, I wasn't sure if a TV would cause that or not, probably the first thing we should check. However, he said the shift points feel fine so maybe not the TV.
