What exactly will I notice with the Vette srevo once I put my tranny back in? Will all the shifts be firmer,or just 1-2,or what? Also,someone told me to either do the servo or shift kit,but not both.Said it will shift too hard.True?

The Servo increases the holding power of the band in second gear only. It will also make the 2-3 feel firmer by increasing the overlap on the shift. First off, the TransGo Shift Kit/Reprogramming Kit is what FIXES your tranny, regardless of changing Servo's. You need to select the CORRECT Servo though. Never use the 554 Servo in anything. For many V-8's the 553 is just fine and will give good shift quality with the TransGo. IF you have high power, want 'firmer' shifts for cosmetic reasons, OR have a flare on the 2-3 shift (the REAL reason the Servo was incorporated into certain 700's), then you want the 'Vette Servo (093).
