my 92 Z28 with the 5 speed has a issue.shifts fine into 1st,3rd,4th,and 5th.when i try to shift to 2nd or rev,it grinds.the clutch resevor was low,so i filled it up and bleed the system a few times and made no different.i dont see any leaks.do u think i have a issue with the syninezers (sorry for the spelling)in the trans.i still can drive it but i shift from 1st to 3rd.please help.

 

sounds like the synchro's for 2nd gear are done, time for a rebuild.

 

thats what i was thinking but didnt want to hear.i guess a trip to the trans shop monday
