Car: 1988 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 305 LT1 intake&heads
Transmission: TH700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 10bolt GM
T-5 trans question
ok here's the deal, we want to make our Camaro a bit sideways, 700r4 is automatic so cannot be used, cannot afford to but and ship T-56 so need to find another solution and have some questions. first of all how much will T-5 handle ?? 300? 400?? torque, second thing is, are there any kits that will strenthen T-5

My T-5 takes 400 hp 3500rpm cluch dumps with slicks at the track everyweekend. And yes they make Beef up kits for the T-5.
