rebuilt trans, now what do I do?

Hey guys!
Okay I had my trans. fully rebuilt with a corvette servo, transgo -2 shiftkit, 2300 rpm stall, and some upgraded internal parts.
now, how do I launch this thing? Do I "power brake" up to around 1300 rpm then let go and hopefully torque converter will get me into m power band?
I really have no clue what i'm doing, lol. I have a megashifter by the way...

thanks for any help guys...

for the track, get some nice sticky tires, drag radials or the like, heat them up, and brake torque til the converter is loaded. Launch from there.

On street tires, you pretty much need to experiment to find a way to keep some traction, while not completely bogging out of the hole, and it's harder to get traction with a looser converter.

It really depends on what the car likes. Some power brake and lose time, others it works great. Remember though that the converter and thus the tranny will really heat up fast doing this. Get a TruCool cooler and bypass the radiator to help keep things under control. Synthetic oil is the next step.

$2 300 canadian including taxes and they replaced all my spark plugs and rear main seal too as a bonus they were a great shop.

i think that works out to about $1 300 USD's... from what i hear that's not a bad deal.
