700R4 in an older car

how hard would it be to put a 700R4 in an older muscle car say a 1970 Chevelle

Axle/Gears: 307
Fairly easy, the tranny will bolt in and onto your crossmember if you elongate the bolt holes. The frame will have to have 1 bolt hole on each side drilled out and the other elongated. The hardest part would be to get a driveshaft fitted in but if you were to measure things out im sure you could get a Fbodys drive shaft and extend or shorten it to fit. The hardest part is deciding if you want a locking converter. If you wanted the converter to lock you would have to buy the harness kit for it. If not you could get a non locking converter and have the part throttle downshift eliminator installed to help out on the highway.
