Dropping the clutch
I was just reading the article on tranny slams.
I was wondering how bad it is on a manual. I know it cant be good but is it as bad as with auto.
How about if you have a bigger pressure plate?

Dropping the clutch does the most damage to the clutch pad itself (which wears out eventually anyway).
What really matters is the power/torque your engine dishes out. A stronger engine will need tougher driveline components.
