how many quarts of tranny fluid?

doing a tranny fluid and filter flush. how many quarts should i get? i wanna get synthetic fluid, even thought it runs about $5 a quart!! im also gonna have my tranny cooler when i change the fluid. the B&M 24,000 GVW

When I did the filter change on both of my cars I never used more then 8 qt's. Now the camaro has a b&m super cooler don't remember which one but I think it took 1 extra quart. Hope this helps!!

Yea it usually takes 9-10 Quarts...Thats about what it took me when I put my trans and new torque converter in.

what does the book say it takes for a COMPLETE fluid change? i have 15 qts im going to use. do i need more?
