B4C 3-4 WOT upshift
B4C 3-4 WOT upshift
I was wondering how driveability for an everyday but modified vehicle becomes after this? If you're in 4th and accelerate will it downshift? or do you loose that?
If i understand you actually have to MODIFY the b4c parts to get them in?
thanks

As i own a vette and my car already does this, the car will only downshift to 3rd if your going slow enough..past about 100mph it wont downshift it will just hold it in 4th.

I'm wondering with the "Modifications" i keep seeing for thise sleeve if that will further effect it?
I hear that people have done this and while they're driving along in OD it will suddenly drop into 3rd winding out there engine

I used one of those valves from GM but the trans would shift into 4th too early and when I was above 80mph it would not downshift when I floored it. So I took out the 3-4 shift valve in the valve body and I put a slightly heavier spring in there. I had to experement with it but I finally got it to where it would stay in 3rd longer and I could rev it out more in 3rd. This is something I had to find out for my self because these so called "experts" here could not figure this out.
Hey 86_Dan_Z28,if you would have done a search you would have found that this info has been posted in the past. If you are not paying for people to help you then I would suggest you keep the snide comments to yourself. I think most people on here understand the process that goes on here and realize that you are really making yourself look like a child.

Dan, after working on cars all day long day in and day out, you'd think that last thing I would want to do is come home and talk about fixing cars. But I do anyway for the love of it, but you know, ungrateful A-holes like you make me reconcider why I waste my time helping others who I never met, never will, and probably don't care about anything but themselves. Good luck fixing your car, on our own. Later.

Dan
Have you heard of "looking a gift horse in the mouth". If you feel that way, keep it to your self! Speeking for myself I enjoy reading and gaining knowledge I would otherwise have to learn through hard knocks.
