disc brake
i got a 89 5.7 iroc with a 9bolt dics rear(2.77 gears) and want to swap it out with a 10 bolt out of a 87-88(one of these years guy has it for sell) gta firebird. also with rear disc but he tol me that his rear dics are different from mine(his match his front disc) and it has a 2.73 posi in it and i want to know what woulkd be need for the swap will the disc just bolt up and any other info would be good. oh and can the 10 bolt 2.73 can i just swap the ring and pinion for 3.73 and not have to replace the carrier..

You'll need new ebrake cables and a 3 series carrier to install the 3.73s.
