200 metric transmission

i have a 85 camaro z28 with a 700 r4. Will a 200 metric tranny work in this car? get back to me someone!!

why would you do that i fried mine 2 times with an 82 firebird s/e with a 4bbl 305 with just a k&n and flowmaster catback before i put in a 700r4 but you will need a longer driveshaft and i cant remember but i believe that the cross member is a little diff but dont quote me its been a while since i did the switch and i dont have the car anymore...
