1990 rs rearend

I have a 90 camaro rs,It came with the 305 5 speed setup.I have replaced the engine with a goodwrench 350 86 and earlier style crate motor.I plan on beefing the motor up to around 400hp.I want to know what kind of limited slip rearend setup i should get to handle the increased power and not be to pricey.

Re: 1990 rs rearend

Not much available for the 3rd gen that isn't pricy. The 7.5 10 bolt isn't very strong and there isn't anything else from the factory that's much better. You can add a few parts to what you have to make it a little stronger, but it is still very limited. An Eaton Posi and a T/A Performance aluminum cover will help some. You should already have the 28 spline axles. A new Moser 12 bolt starts at about $2200 plus shipping with an Eaton Posi and 30 spline C clip axles.
