ok i was told if i go old school i need a kit for my automatic 700r4 tranny it is going on a 350 now but before i do this i need to know the tools and info first. ok first question where do i get the kit at.2nd question does it come with instructions and warranty.3rd when answering me could you say specific sites to go and price this kit.4th is should i even remove computer and if i do how much headache im i going to get out of it.ok thinks you guys are awsome

 

TCI's Pro Super kit is the best I've used, for easyness. they do include good instructions, and the kit is good enough for a serious 350 on pump gas. If you're wanting to add nitrous, the Hughes kit is better, but doesn't come with much in the way of paperwork. You can get these from www.summitracing.com There are a few special tools required, but if you have a welder and a hacksaw, you can make the odd ones. Snap ring pliers aren't something you make yourself, but they're not much $, even if you do end up having to buy your own.

 

I think he's talking about a torque converter lockup kit, not a shift kit.

TC lockup kit is easy, TCI kit comes with simple instructions. Sockets, wire strippers is about all you'll need.
