I'm replacing the tranny behind my V6 in the maro. I'm not gonna be putting in the V8 for a bit so were going with the small one for now.

First few things i noticed, was the shifter linkage is different. The S10 has the bar type shifter, and the camaro has the cable.
Will this change over?

Also, i know about the tail shaft change, and were gonna get on that soon.

Also, i broke off the kickdown cable plastic mount piece when i took it out the S10, so i'm assuming the camaro's will work?

Thirdly, we took the torque converter out the tranny to move the tranny, so it wouldnt fall out, and it ended up falling off the tailgate. So, do i need to put the time into cleaning the S10 TC, use the camaro one, or get a different one?
