4th gen Rear end Question

So im selling a moser 9 inch(its in the Classifieds), my question is, if its a 4 channel rear end w.traction control and someone wants to swap it back into a 4th gen that doesnt have trac. control, its technically not going to matter since the vehicle he has wont be sending the signal from the ECU to the rear end to engage the traction control correct? these systems work through ABS AFAIK, im just thinking logically here, the car will have ABS as usual and since it doesnt have any CBX for TC, it shouldnt engage.... anyone care to chime in on this?

Re: 4th gen Rear end Question

The 4th gen ABS is 3 channel and the Trac Control is 4. The regular ABS uses a single sensor in the rear pumpkin, but the 4-chanel uses 2 sensors: one at the end of each axle. Not only will Trac Control not function,...... but there would be no ABS at all.

Obviously not 'plug and play'. I don't know if there is any way to modify or splice the different ABS wiring/system to make it function properly......
