Engine: 305 TBI

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 2.73

Need a new/rebuilt tranny

I have been searching around for new / rebuilt trannys for a few days now. Just a couple days ago I lost 3/4 tranny. Driving home in 1st/2nd gear is great fun...... I have a few questions

Outlaw Transmissions/Mad dog Lou:
Anyone have any problems RECENTLY with his products?

Any other good cheap stock/running/good transmissions stores that I should be aware of?

I fell victim to one of his scams last year. I paid $1100.00 for a bad core!!!

Try checking Craigslist.com I found a few good deals there in my area. Maybe youll find something close to you. Its worth a look. I just got a 350 engine with a 350 trans for $100 on craigslist. Both work excellent.
