T56 reverse lockout question
My reverse lockout has a pink wire and green. Pink gets 12V when the brake is applied, and green is grounded. Yet it's still VERY hard to get the car into reverse. Did I do something wrong?............is there any way to clean/rebuild the solenoid?

Re: T56 reverse lockout question
Don't take this the wrong way.
Reverse is normally extended.
CAGS is normally retracted.
It's a crimped assy IIRC; I've never had one apart.

Re: T56 reverse lockout question
When you say you have trouble getting into reverse, do you mean getting into the gate, or getting reverse to engage?
I think JMD is referring to the fact that you can't swap the CAGS and REV solenoids to check/test because one's plunger is normally-out and power will pull it in, the other is normally-in and power pushes it out.

Double check your wiring and fuse for your REV solenoid. You should be able to hear it click (with key on but motor off) even in the car.
You can unscrew the REV solenoid from the mechanisim and swap them between T56's to test.
